Dragon’s Blood

Improves gastrointestinal health

Dragon’s Blood refers to the bright red tree sap that is obtained from the croton lechleri plant.  Use of Dragon’s Blood dates back to the 17th century, when South American tribes used it externally to heal wounds and internally for digestion problems.

Clinical research shows Dragon’s Blood to be effective in for digestion and diarrhea.  It is a rich source of proanthocyanidins which provide a wide range of health benefits similar to the flavonoids found in red wine, cranberry, green tea, etc.  Dragon’s Blood also has an anti-inflammatory effect and, when applied topically, helps repair skin tissue for cuts, rashes, and bites.
